It's sad that many people we talk to here tell us they believe that what we teach about the J road is true, yet they still tell us they just can't follow Him. There are still so many things holding them back. And a big one is fear. Fear from what their families will say. Fear from persecution. And most of all fear from dark spirits. Many of them rely on communicating with demons, and using incantations, and sorcery to find medicine or good fortune or whatever else they may be seeking. People are afraid of what their life might become without having those dark spirits to rely on anymore. What they fail to see is that without those they would be completely FREE.
One day our supervisor and some colleagues from the Capital came to visit us in our town to chat with our host family, and then to go hiking around our little cliffs.
Even though these people claim to be Mslm, Animism is still so embedded in their lives. The area we hiked at, the first place we passed was a sacred sight, where 'secrets' are kept, and sacrifices and offerings are made, and demons consulted.

These pots were found on top of one of the rock hills. It's not for cooking food, but for some form of ceremonies to the spirits
